4年ぶりの家族での温泉旅行となりゆっくり温泉三昧させていただくことができました。
娘もＯＧとして楽しい週末になったようです。命の洗濯がゆっくりとできました。ありがとうございました。
富士見に帰ってきて今日はいきなりの大雪・・５０ｃｍは積もりました。
朝からようやく雪かきも終わりようやく車が出せるようになったほどです。
野沢はまた真冬に戻っているのではと・・・同じ雪国ではありますが南信は低温であまり降ることはないのですが今年は異常に多いです。
まだまだこれから春まで遠い野沢温泉 皆様お体大切にお仕事頑張ってください。

Kawaichiya Ryokan is located 4 mins away from the Nozawa Onsen bus stop, albeit at the bottom of a slightly steep slope. The walk down, particularly on a snowy day, can be pretty icy and slippery, however, one cannot simply judge this fantastic ryokan based solely on its disadvantageous location. The host/owner of the place, Kono-san, is a Japanese man who inherited the ryokan from his father, ensuring that the business remains in the family and thus enforcing a high level of service quality throughout the accommodation. Warm and hospitable, he always seeks to address our every need and problem, going out of the way to ensure that the we are comfortable. On first arrival, he even explained the layout of the village and introduced us to the good restaurant places and ski lifts one can access. The ryokan's links to a certain ski rental store means that guests can rent equipment at grossly under priced rates (1000 yen/day) too. Moments before leaving for the bus, we raised the issue of the slippery slope posing problems given how we struggled to get down earlier in the day. Kono-san simply nodded and told us to wait at the lobby, then he told a staff member to attend to our needs. The burly man stalked out and reappeared with a mini-van at the entrance. He then proceeded to store our luggages in the boot and promptly told us to hop in. Then, he drove us all the way to the train station, a good 15-20 min away. We tried to tip him after getting out, but he vehemently declined our offers.
On the matter of food, the free breakfast is pretty average with rice, hotpot and a mishmash of condiments in the usual bento box. However, dinner was spectacular- lovely marbled beef sliced in large cubes and simmered over a hotplate, a pan fried saba fish, delicately sweet horse meat sashimi, steamed chawanmushi and a hotpot soup. The food was so much that we could not finish our platter, a first in our culinary adventures in Japan.
In our 3 nights there, we slept in the japanese styled room with personal toilets. The room was slightly old with slight stains on the carpeted areas and an antiqued air conditioner/ heater. However, the room was warm enough and the mattresses and quills that we slept in were very comfortable and clean.
In all, we definitely enjoyed our stay in the ryokan and our holiday in Nozawa Onsen and this was largely due to Kono-san's hospitality and warmth.

この度はお世話になりました。
木のぬくもりあふれる落ち着いた浴室と
かけ流しの真湯のお湯がとても素晴らしくかったことが
今回の滞在で最も印象に残りました。
男性の湯の解放感を、ぜひ入れ替え制で
女性も味わえたらと、うらやましく思ったほどです。
フロントのご対応もいつも温かく丁寧で嬉しく感じました。
お食事では追加やグレードアップをお願いしましたので、
アルコール類ももう少し贅沢できるような選択幅があれば
最高ですね。

大学時代の仲間とスノボー＆温泉目的で来ました。
...この料金で食事と温泉付き、そして宿の方々のおもてなしの良さに本当に大満足でした！！
宿の女将さんから毎回のお食事の最後に一言挨拶があるのですが、それに大変温かみを感じ、気持ちよく過ごせました。
他にも、部屋で日本酒やワインを飲みたかった時に親切にもお猪口やグラス、コルク抜きまで貸して頂けたこと、うれしかったです。
野沢温泉街も大変楽しめました。歩いて行ける「麻釜」で温泉卵作りをしたり、温泉通りを散歩してお土産を見て野沢菜やおまんじゅうを食べました。最後は宿の目の前にある１日50食限定のざるそば屋さんでお昼ごはんを頂きまして、大変楽しい旅行になりました。
野沢温泉にまた来たい、そしてその時にはまたこちらにお世話になりたいと思います。

宿の皆さんの対応もとても感じがよく、気分良く過ごすことができました。
お部屋に案内して下さったスタッフの方が、外湯めぐりやお土産屋について教えて下さったので、おかげさまで野沢温泉を満喫できました。
館内のお風呂もいいお湯で、満足です。
カミソリと綿棒を持参することを忘れてしまったので、アメニティとして置いて下されば最高でした。
料理も多く食べきれないほどで、従業員の方の接客も大変良く、満足して帰りました。
夕食の品数が多く、食べきれなかったのが悔しいです。美味しかったのに！お昼を早めに食べて、お腹空かせて行くべきでした。
大人数で、一人づつ会計していただきました。お手数おかけしてしまいましたが、気持ち良く対応していただき嬉しかったです。
全員満足したようで、こちらのお宿に決めて良かったです。
急に時間が取れたので、近くで温泉が良い野沢温泉に決めじゃらんの口コミで確認し河一屋さんに決めました。口コミどおりで野天風呂は天下の名湯「真湯」の源泉かけ流しの湯船は絶品でした。従業員の接客態度も心地よく十分堪能することができました。自宅から近いので機会をとらえ再び訪れたいと思っています。
